Dean of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Stavanger Business School visits our university

International exchange / study abroad

 After a tour of the museum by Director Mogi Masato of the Marine Science Museum, the group was welcomed by Executive Vice President Maida Masashi (Research, International Affairs, and Academic Affairs), and the University of Stavanger's liaison faculty members, Associate Professor Takahashi Norimoto (Food Production Science Department) and Assistant Professor Liao Kai (Marine Policy and Cultural Studies Department), who met with the group.

 During the meeting, there was a lively exchange of opinions on future student exchanges that emphasize interdisciplinary learning, as well as areas of research that could be collaborative between the two universities.

 What is the University of Stavanger?2022After signing an agreement and memorandum with the Faculty of Science and Engineering in 2016,6Our university's proposed project, "Japan-Nordic Collaborative International Education Program: 'Advanced Professional Engineers Creating the Future of the Oceans'" (commonly known as:METIS) participating school2025This agreement was expanded to a university-wide agreement in 2011, and active student and researcher exchanges have been taking place.

 Together with the University of Stavanger, our university will continue to actively promote cooperation in the maritime field between Norway and Japan.
