2026Years2Month4On the day, Chonnam National University in South KoreaJinhyoung Cho (Jinhyung Cho)Director of External Relations,Shinhye KangManager of the International Exchange Office,Changhyun KwakThe manager of the International Exchange Office visited our university and met with Professor Masashi Maita, Executive Vice President for Research and International Affairs, and Associate Professor Kuniyoshi Shimakura (Food Production Science Department), who serves as the liaison professor at Chonnam National University.

At the beginning of the meeting, Director Cho expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet today, and then introduced the international exchange program being held at Chonnam National University.AIHe explained the "Professional Development Graduate School Program" and engaged in a lively exchange of opinions on the possibility of future student and researcher exchanges.

We have built a close cooperative relationship with Chonnam National University since the time when our university was still called Tokyo University of Fisheries and our predecessor, Yeosu Fisheries University, signed an international exchange agreement and a memorandum of understanding on student exchange.

Our university will continue to promote collaboration and cooperation with Chonnam National University.
