2025Years12Month5Friday, Etchujima CampusWorld Marine Cafeso"2025The 2019 International Exchange Conference was held at the University of Tokyo. International students, Japanese students, faculty, staff, and related parties gathered together, providing an opportunity to deepen exchanges beyond nationalities and positions.

The event began with a speech by President Iseki, followed by a toast by Hiroshi Sekine, chairman of the University Alumni Association and Marine Society. The atmosphere was relaxed, and everyone was excited to talk about the cultures of each country and student life.

The social gathering also featured a variety of student performances, including an introductory quiz by the International Exchange Club, a traditional Sri Lankan dance, an introduction to recommended tourist spots in Tokyo, a cultural introduction and surprise dance from Myanmar, and a chorus performance by students from the Philippines, providing an opportunity for participants to become familiar with each other's cultures.

Finally, Director Maita gave a closing speech, and the venue was filled with smiles and energy as the event closed.

Our university will continue to provide opportunities for international exchange that allow students, faculty, and staff to get to know and learn from each other.
