Associate Professor Keiichiro Koiwai of the Graduate School of Academic Research (Institute of Aquatic Biotechnology) of our university, serving as research team leader, has been selected for the e-ASIA Joint Research Programme, open to applications from the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), as part of a new project in the field of "Alternative Energy." The project is titled "Prediction of the proliferation dynamics of shrimp viral diseases due to climate change and development of treatments for pathogenic viruses."
