We are pleased to announce that we will be holding an in-person international symposium, "The Impact of Climate Change on Shrimp Health and Aquaculture," at our Shinagawa Campus, inviting experts from Japan and abroad. This symposium will focus on the urgent issue of the impact of climate change on shrimp health and aquaculture, and aims to promote international cooperation toward realizing sustainable aquaculture.

Furthermore, from Japan, we will have Dr. Ryosuke Omori from the Hokkaido University Institute for Zoonosis Control, who will give a talk on "mathematical modeling" for disease management in aquaculture, and we will engage in a cross-disciplinary discussion.
