Comparative Functional Analysis of Four Type I Interferon Isoforms in Japanese Flounder Using Recombinant Approaches
[Details of award-winning research]
Interferon is a cytokine that is expected to be useful in preventing viral infections.4kind ofIWe conducted functional analysis of recombinant interferons using type I interferons. All of the interferons prepared in this study possessed antiviral activity, and it was shown that each had different antiviral gene induction activity. It is expected that the proteins prepared in this study will be useful in the future for preventing infectious diseases in fish.
