The September 2023 Joint Seminar will allow project students to learn about the efforts and career histories of researchers conducting research outside of their own research fields, and to gain new knowledge, reflect on their own research methods, and use this knowledge as a reference for their future career development.With this goal in mind, on September 27th at the Etchujima Campus, Professor Hitoshi Tamaru from the University's Maritime Systems Engineering Department gave a lecture and Q&A session on research into "maritime traffic engineering" and career development.
