August 2024, 10 | Joint Seminar

A joint seminar was held on October 22nd from 1:30pm in the group study room on the first floor of the Shinagawa Campus Library, where students from this project gave research presentations, where mentor teachers provided advice on the presentations, and where students could ask questions and answer questions.

The D1, D2, and D3 students made presentations in turn, followed by evaluations and question-and-answer sessions by their mentor professors. This was an opportunity for the students to learn about research content in fields different from their own, and research methods with different perspectives and approaches. This lively exchange of opinions was a great inspiration for each student, and the advice from their mentor professors provided an opportunity for them to look at their own research objectively and further improve it.

The presenting students and their research topics are as follows:

D1 Nagisa Saito "Elucidation of the mechanism of T cell attraction by antigen-uptake cells in rainbow trout gill epithelium"

Hidehito Kashiwagi "Ship Berthing Control Using Data-Driven Model"

Inori Goda "Study on host specificity of viral muscle necrosis disease in vannamei shrimp"

D2 LIU XINXIN (Ryushinshin) "The effect of zonarol derived from brown algae, Shiwayahazu, on brain function"

Misaki Shiba "Process Systems Engineering Research Aiming for Zero Emissions from Unused Marine Resources"

Haruna Kinjo "Research into the new functionality and uses of squid ink"

Makoto Morito "Development of ASV for marine surveys and its control method"

D3 Lin Qi "Research on improving the competitiveness of fish farming to become a growth industry"
